This Solstice, we're taking over Chance Street for a day of movement, music and celebration, empowered by lululemon.
10+ progressive sessions across the studio from 10am to 7pm. We're also proud to use Rogue Solstice as a launch pad for Rogue Access, our commitment to making movement, dance and strength training more accessible to underserved communities.
The reality:
By age 13, one in two young women drop out of sport — three times the rate of boys.
1.3 million girls in the UK who once considered themselves sporty lose interest as teenagers. Fear of being judged, lack of confidence and not feeling safe were the leading reasons. By 14, only 10% of girls meet recommended activity levels. They aren't choosing to leave they're being pushed out by stereotypes, inadequate opportunities and zero support through puberty. The barriers created at this age become lifelong. Girls become women who believe exercise isn't for them.
LGBTQ+ young people are twice as likely to avoid fitness spaces altogether.
Gendered changing rooms, heteronormative culture and binary assumptions make gyms and sports clubs some of the most hostile environments LGBTQ+ young people encounter. 58% of trans people avoid certain sports entirely because of their gender identity. A quarter have experienced insults in connection with sport. The research is consistent: LGBTQ+ young people need safe spaces where they can come together within their local community and choose to be active on their own terms.
A dedicated safe space for the trans community. Free classes for young people who've never been invited into a wellness space.

rogue solstice
Once a month, we run through Shoreditch. No PBs. No uniform. No performance. Just movement, community, and the streets of E1. Every run ends back at Chance Street with a 30-minute RE:STORE class. because rest is as important as the run.
Free for everyone in June. After that, free for members, £5 drop-in. That £5 includes RE:STORE.

Opening up our space to marginalised and underserved commuties, through free classes, safe spaces and mentoring.
rogue access begins 21 June, at the 5 years of rebellion celebration takeover. 100% of tickets proceeds go to Mimbre, delivering movemet classes in Hackney estates since 2018.
